Leung, University Librarian<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>For sometime&nbsp;now, I have wanted to display a collection of portraits of some of the illustrious Chinese writers of our time in the Library to help put a face to the names that we know so well. Such a collection was, however, not easy to come by. I chanced to mention this unfulfilled aspiration in a conversation with Mr. Kong Kai-Ming, a well-known and respected Hong Kong painter. He immediately and enthusiastically agreed to create such a collection for the Hong Kong Baptist University Library.<\/p><p>The collection, though by no means exhaustive, nor representative in any systematic sense, is of thirty-six writers whose works have exerted seminal influence in the fields of Chinese literature, history and philosophy. They share the common attribute of having variously inspired, awed, charmed, shaped and challenged us as their readers. <\/p><p>Barbara Tuchman, the historian and Pulitzer Prize winner, once said, &#8220;Books are humanity in print.&#8221; These writers, whose portraits now grace our Library, have all left their indelible mark on humanity.&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-default\" style=\"margin:50px 0 50px 0; opacity: 0.6\">\n\n\n\n<h4>\u756b\u5f8c\u8a9e\u3000\u6c5f\u555f\u660e<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>\u4e00\u5929\uff0c\u8207\u9999\u6e2f\u6d78\u6703\u5927\u5b78\u5716\u66f8\u9928\u6881\u738b\u4ee5\u7192\u9928\u9577\u7b49\u4eba\u54c1\u8317\uff0c\u8ac7\u53ca\u600e\u6a23\u53bb\u63d0\u8d77\u5e74\u9752\u4eba\u5c0d\u6587\u5b78\u7684\u8208\u8da3\uff0c\u81ea\u7136\u5c31\u5f15\u767c\u8d77\u600e\u6a23\u53bb\u63a8\u52d5\uff0c\u8981\u63a8\u52d5\u5c31\u8981\u6709\u69cb\u60f3\u7684\u8fa6\u6cd5\u548c\u884c\u52d5\u3002\u5176\u9593\u4ed6\u5011\u5c31\u60f3\u5230\u5f62\u8c61\u5316\uff0c\u5373\u628a\u4e00\u4e9b\u8457\u540d\u7684\u6587\u5b78\u5bb6\u8096\u50cf\u7528\u7e6a\u756b\u5f62\u5f0f\u7e6a\u4e0b\u4f86\uff0c\u4ee5\u52a0\u5f37\u540c\u5b78\u548c\u8b80\u8005\u5011\u5c0d\u5404\u5b78\u8005\u7684\u5370\u8c61\u548c\u5c0d\u6587\u5316\u7684\u8208\u8da3\u548c\u8a8d\u8b58\uff0c\u4e26\u63a8\u8209\u6211\u64d4\u4efb\u9019\u5de5\u4f5c\u3002\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u9084\u6703\u914d\u5408\u4e00\u4e9b\u8b1b\u5ea7\u3001\u5c55\u89bd\u548c\u51fa\u7248\u7b49\u6d3b\u52d5\u3002<\/p><p>\u7e6a\u756b\u662f\u6211\u4e00\u751f\u4e0d\u53ef\u5206\u5272\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u4efd\uff0c\u6709\u4e9b\u5b78\u8005\u3001\u79d1\u5b78\u5bb6\u52de\u5176\u4e00\u751f\u4e5f\u53ea\u7814\u7a76\u55ae\u4e00\u7684\u5b78\u554f\u8ab2\u984c\uff0c\u6709\u4e9b\u756b\u5bb6\u4e00\u751f\u4e5f\u53ea\u7e6a\u4e00\u756b\u7a2e\u6216\u5167\u5bb9\uff0c\u800c\u672c\u4eba\u5247\u898b\u4ec0\u9ebc\u5c31\u7e6a\u4ec0\u9ebc\uff0c\u4ec0\u9ebc\u756b\u7a2e\u5167\u5bb9\u90fd\u53bb\u6d89\u7375\uff0c\u7e6a\u756b\u6280\u8853\u81ea\u554f\u4e5f\u5c31\u6bd4\u8f03\u5e73\u5eb8\u3002\u8a71\u96d6\u5982\u6b64\uff0c\u5728\u627f\u64d4\u9019\u9805\u6709\u6df1\u9060\u610f\u7fa9\u7684\u5de5\u4f5c\u6642\uff0c\u6211\u4ecd\u76e1\u91cf\u53bb\u4e86\u89e3\u6bcf\u4f4d\u4f5c\u5bb6\u7684\u6027\u683c\u53ca\u6587\u5b78\u7279\u6027\u4f86\u63a1\u7528\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u7269\u6599\u53ca\u8868\u73fe\u624b\u6cd5\uff0c\u5e0c\u671b\u80fd\u9054\u81f4\u5b8c\u7f8e\u4e00\u9ede\u3002<\/p><p>\u795d\u9858\u9019\u6b21\u9999\u6e2f\u6d78\u6703\u5927\u5b78\u63a8\u52d5\u4e2d\u570b\u6587\u5b78\u7684\u6d3b\u52d5\u66f4\u81fb\u5b8c\u7f8e\uff0c\u4e26\u5e0c\u671b\u9019\u4efd\u5fc3\u9858\u8207\u7cbe\u795e\u80fd\u767c\u63da\u4e0b\u53bb\u3002<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-default\" style=\"margin:50px 0 50px 0; opacity: 0.6\">\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/bcc.lib.hkbu.edu.hk\/artcollection\/collection\/portraits-of-chinese-writers\/\">\u700f\u89bd\u756b\u4f5c<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bcc.lib.hkbu.edu.hk\/artcollection\/collection\/portraits-of-chinese-writers\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/bcc.lib.hkbu.edu.hk\/artcollection\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-2-1024x792.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-34554\" width=\"341\" height=\"264\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bcc.lib.hkbu.edu.hk\/artcollection\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-2-1024x792.png 1024w, https:\/\/bcc.lib.hkbu.edu.hk\/artcollection\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-2-500x387.png 500w, https:\/\/bcc.lib.hkbu.edu.hk\/artcollection\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-2-768x594.png 768w, https:\/\/bcc.lib.hkbu.edu.hk\/artcollection\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-2.png 1426w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 341px) 100vw, 341px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-default\" style=\"margin:50px 0 50px 0; opacity: 0.6\">\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>\u76f8\u95dc\u9023\u7d50<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/library.hkbu.edu.hk\/record\/?ID=alma991023918679703409&amp;T=PC\" target=\"_blank\">\u9999\u6e2f\u6d78\u6703\u5927\u5b78\u5716\u66f8\u9928\u76ee\u9304\u8a18\u9304<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u672c\u66f8\u65bc2004\u5e74\u51fa\u7248\uff0c\u8f2f\u9304\u4e86\u6c5f\u555f\u660e\u5148\u751f\u70ba\u9999\u6e2f\u6d78\u6703\u5927\u5b78\u5716\u66f8\u9928\u7e6a\u88fd\u7684\u4e2d\u570b\u4f5c\u5bb6\u7d20\u63cf\u3002 \u984c\u8a5e\u3000\u6821\u9577\u5433\u6e05\u8f1d\u6559\u6388 \u524d\u8a00\u3000\u5716\u66f8\u9928\u9928\u9577\u6881\u738b\u4ee5\u7192Shirley W.
