The foundation of the BCC is the belief that nurturing a club that treasures reading, writing, and publishing good books enhances the humanistic spirit of the HKBU community. Activities not only feature lectures, discussions, and book signings, but also hands-on workshops pertaining to book and related arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BCC connects the HKBU community in a welcoming environment, fostering literary appreciation through active workshops, dialogues, and engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block stk-ee59098\" id=\"connect-and-collaborate-with-us\" data-block-id=\"ee59098\"><style>.stk-ee59098{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-ee59098 .stk-block-heading__text{color:#bc9f60 !important;font-weight:bold !important;font-family:\"Roboto Slab\",Sans-serif !important}<\/style><h4 class=\"stk-block-heading__text has-text-color has-accent-color\">Connect and Collaborate with Us!<\/h4><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>HKBU has many fine authors and artists in our midst, as signified by the Chinese calligraphy in our logo, written by the late renowned poet and calligrapher Mr. Chen Yi Yu.&nbsp; Book Culture Club events provide HKBU authors and creatives with an opportunity to establish a public identity, and to gain recognition and appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While we welcome community involvement beyond HKBU, collaboration across the University and with our alumni is a vital priority.
