Mission de Sien-hsien (Tche-li S.E.). I, Missionnaire au milieu de ses Chretiens
Postcard of a black and white photograph of a priest surrounded by a group of Chinese male Catholic believers. The Chinese men and boys wore the queue hairstyle, indicating that time was the Qing dynasty. The caption of the postcard reads in French language: Mission de Sien-hsien (Tche-li S.E.). Sien-hsien refers to Xian Xian (獻縣) in then Southeast Zhili (直隸) (i.e. nowadays Hebei Province)
