一九六O年在電車路高處拍攝的這條永吉街，正是中區的未端，是皇后道中和德輔道中之間相當熱鬧的橫街。從招牌字可以看到有陸羽茶室、健昌金山莊、梁勁予中醫、三光布廠、學生書店、白燕女子理髮以至包辦筵席，十分多樣化。那些中國式瓦面也頗堪回味呢。
