中環都爹利街的石階約建於1875至1889年間， 兩端的欄杆上置有四座煤氣路燈，是本港僅存的煤氣路燈，仍然提供街道照明。
The stone stairs that form Duddell Street date from 1889. Even now the twin banisters are illuminated
by gas street lamps.
