古稱鹽船灣，該處的海岸線像一個銅鑼，因而
得名，1950年代進行大型填海工程。曾有多間
百貨公司在這區開業，現時遍佈購物商場。
Once a heavily silted bay, it was called copper gong
bay in Chinese, before being filled in during the
1950’s.
