是灣仔一個露天運動場地，昔日為灣仔主要地
標，有不少待業者日間在此等候分配體力勞動
工作，傍晚後則搖身一變成為「平民夜總會」。
1982年港鐵在此興建灣仔站，隔鄰為修頓中心。
Southorn Playground is Wanchai’s main sport and recreational area. In the evening, the playground is transformed into an open-air working class nightspot.
