Small format 1970’s posters from Northwest Orient. The sea, boats and a life living and working on
the water has always been an integral part of Hong Kong which in the 1970’s would most likely be
experienced by tourist visitors with a trip on the Star Ferry and a meal at one of the floating restaurants
in Aberdeen harbour. It is estimated that as many as 150,000 people lived afloat in Hong Kong in 1963 and still as many as 40,000 in 1980
