This portrait collection of thirty-six Chinese writers was drawn by Mr. Kong Kai Ming (江啟明), a respected Hong Kong painter. These writers have exerted seminal influence in the fields of Chinese literature, history, and philosophy.
The paintings are on permanent display along the stairwell in the University Library. The English translation of the biographies is provided by the Centre for Translation of the Hong Kong Baptist University.
