1949年後，有一批國民黨舊部到香港，聚居於當時仍很荒蕪的牛頭角一帶，取名復華村，連接該村的道路稱振華道。香港政府於1978年開始清拆，在原址建成樂華村。
After 1949, a segment of Kuomintang came to Hong Kong and set up a village called Rebuild China Village in the then desolate area of Ngau Tau Kok.
