The big round world of B.O.A.C. - stop off in the Far East
This poster was designed to promote B.O.A.C.'s services throughout the Far East using imagery of Hong Kong to convey the promotional message. The floating restaurants in Aberdeen harbour were a popular destination for tourists visiting Hong Kong in the 1970's and this poster uses and image that also draws on one of the more memorable scenes in the 1960 film, The World of Suzie Wong.
