The Chinese cruiser "Wei-Yuen" towing into the harbour at Chefoo a barge containing the bodies of those killed in the Yalu River Engagement, bringing them back to bury them in native soil after the battle. 2. The gayest haunt of Canton was wiped out by fire causing huge destruction to the flower-boaters at Canton
