蝇令你生病 : 霍乱. 腸熱. .痢症


Enormous flies landing on lavatories and dustbins and then onto food. At the bottom on the psoter is a sick woman with an anxious doctor. Text above image sayed "Flies eat nightsoil and refuse and then eat rice. People who eat that rice will become sick and die" (蝇食糞及垃圾便食饭。人食其飯便病 一 死!) Handwritten inscription on poster by John S. Willis, in Hong Kong, April 1947. Willis has translated the Chinese into English
