Local artist Kong Kai Ming is best-known for his landscape art. He also sketched ordinary people on the streets. This collection features over 200 sketches he drew in 1950s to 1960s. These sketches capture disappearing social life from a variety of subjects such as 媽姐 (old style live-in maids), 包租婆 (female landlords), 收買佬 (second-hand goods collectors), 補鞋匠 (cobblers), and 賣欖者 (olives hawkers).
