The Library has collected different types of materials related to Chinese missionary. The posters in this collection were published by the mission to China during 1930-1950s. The printed images helped the missionaries’ activities to tell the Gospel. The China Inland Mission maps published in different years document the stations development of the Mission in the 19th century. There are over 60 postcards issued by Protestant Missionaries (Church Missionary Society, London Missionary Society, Church of England Zenana Missionary Society and others) which were printed in late 19th to early 20th century. Postcard images often refer to missionary activities or portraits of missionary in China in that period. Some of them have been used and writing is on back. The Christian Gospel tracts [circa 1940s] were published by Christian Book Room (基督福音書局). Each piece is double-sided printing with a graphic image on one side and text in Chinese on the other side.
